Our Faith

As a Catholic school community, our faith at St. Francis Catholic School is mirrored in a variety of activities that range from daily morning prayers during opening announcements to monthly schoolwide liturgies which are enhanced through active student and staff participation. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join us for worship and prayer. We enjoy a strong partnership with Holy Name of Jesus Church and Father Daniele Muscoloni.

The core Christian values of care, concern and respect are the cornerstones of spiritual development and growth within our school. The outward demonstration of these values is underscored by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that greets all who enter our school. Outward demonstrations of our involvement beyond our school community include food collections, clothing drives and fundraising for various causes.

Our aspiration is that through prayer, direction, instruction and demonstration, the students of St. Francis Catholic School will grow into a way of living that is in keeping with the gospel teachings of Jesus Christ.

~ School Prayer ~

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
