September 2023

Bienvenue!

I hope that our St. Francis students and families are relaxed, recharged and ready to begin an exciting new school year. Our incoming and returning staff members are eager to collaborate with our parish, parents/caregivers and community partners to support and nurture our students as they learn and grow. Our strong connections contribute to the welcoming, positive learning environment that focuses on academic excellence and holistic development for our students.

We are a little school with a big heart and are thrilled that the theme of this year’s Catholic Education Week, “We are called to love,” and NPSC’s pastoral plan, based on the theological virtue of love for 2023-2024, focus on kindness, gratitude, respect, empathy and generosity as they are core virtues of our school. We are excited to see how the theme of love becomes animated through the learning and actions of our students as they demonstrate love for themselves, for one another and for God.

Each of our students is a blessing who we are honoured to teach and we look forward to seeing them soon as they embark on their academic journeys as part of our STF pod. À bientôt!

Yours in Catholic Education,

Victoria Swejda
Principal
