On February 11, Minister of Education Stephen Lecce announced a postponement of March Break and issued the following statement:
"In support of our collective efforts to keep schools safe, we are postponing March break until April 12-16, 2021. This decision was made with the best advice of Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health and public health officials, including consultations with many local Medical Officers of Health.”
This means that all Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board schools will remain open the week of March 15-19 and will be closed during the week of April 12-16. To view the revised 2020-2021 school year calendar, please click here.
