Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome all parents and students to the new school year. I am very excited to be your principal for the third year at St. Francis. Bonne entrée 2018-2019. It’s my hope that as the year progresses you will get to know the new staff members: Mme Romie Chartrand Fiorino will teach the JK-SK French component, Mme Carlie Foisy will teach Grade 3/4 and Mme Lindsey Carre´will teach Grade 5/6.

As this school year begins, our goal for the students at St Francis is to ensure a safe and positive learning environment where each student has the opportunity to reach his/her academic potentials.

Education is a joint venture between the school and home. As a school community, we will continue to lay the foundation for student success in school and in their lives. At St Francis, we will create a strong partnership between the home, school and parish. By continuing to work together as partners, we can establish new goals and open doors that will further enrich the lives and learning of our students.

At St Francis, we take pride in the accomplishments of all our students and in the many ways we share our Catholic faith and virtues.

At St Francis, parents give generously of their time throughout the school year. This is evident through their active participation with the SCAC committee, coaching volleyball and basketball, cross-country running team, reading with students, decorating the school’s foyer for Christmas and the FLL Lego club.

Let’s work together in having a successful year.

Warmest wishes,

Denise Selin
