Welcome to St. Francis Catholic Elementary School
September 6, 2016
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of St-Francis School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with a rich cultural, spiritual and educational tradition that has produced so many outstanding students.
I have been dedicated to the field of education for the past 28 years, working as a teacher, teacher designate and acting administrator. During my career I taught at St-Francis, John 23 and Holy Cross. I am elated to bring my skills as an educational leader to St-Francis and to work with you as partner in education to ensure your child’s success. My husband and I have two adult children Joshua and Natasha. I’m also, the proud grand-maman of a 19 month old baby girl Josée.
As principal, I aspire to establish a safe, inclusive school culture and educational program conducive to student learning while cultivating our Catholic virtues and faith. Every student is valued and worthy of our best effort.
Along with students and staff I will work hard to continue the success established at St-Francis by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners.
As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who enters through our doors - teachers, students and parents are welcomed with open arms and feel a sense of belonging.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve your families in this role! Please do not hesitate to reach me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share.
