Welcome to St. Francis Catholic Elementary School

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome all parents and students to the new school year. Bonne entree 2017-2018. I am very excited to be your principal for the second year at St.Francis. It’s my hope that as the year progresses you will get to know the new staff members, Mrs Lynne Bernardi will teach Core English to grades 3-6, Mme Kayla Ducharme will teach grade one, and Mrs Sabrina Roberts will teach the JK-Sk English component.

As this school year begins, our goal for the students at St Francis, is to ensure a safe and positive learning environment where each student has the opportunity to reach his/her academic potentials.

Education is a joint venture between the school and home. As a school community, we will continue to lay the foundation for student success in school and in their lives.

At St Francis, we will create a strong partnership between the home, school and parish. By continuing to work together as partners, we can establish new goals and open doors that will further enrich the lives and learning of our students.

At St Francis, we take pride in the accomplishments of all our students and in the many ways we share our Catholic faith and virtues.

At St Francis, parents give generously of their time throughout the school year. This is evident through their active participation for example, CSAC committee, coaching volleyball and basketball, cross- country running team, reading with students , decorating the school’s foyer for Christmas, and the FLL Lego club.

Let’s work together in having a successful year.

Warmest wishes,

Denise Selin
